"I'M A VICE OLYMPIC CHAMPION and today my ultimate dream is ahead of me: to be Olympic champion at the Paris Olympics next August in the modern pentathlon. It's a discipline I chose rather late: I was 19, I was a swimmer and I didn't qualify for Beijing. After failing to qualify, I decided to take up this new discipline. And that's what defines me, I'm someone who doesn't give up, who gets up again after the event. The modern pentathlon was a real challenge for me, as I'd never done any shooting or fencing, and horse-riding was a bad memory. I'd had a fall and decided never to do it again. I said yes, arrived at the Insep in Paris and there I worked hard to learn, and three and a half years later I qualified for the 2012 London Olympics.

I was so impressed that I went as a spectator of my own participation. In Rio, I was ready, I had built up my confidence,
and since London, I've been runner-up. I learned by leaving my family at a very early age to study sport, which was difficult for them and for me, to build myself up on my own, to look for perfection, for detail...
